Drew & Kelly Dowden

Drew and Kelly Dowden joined the Japan clan on December 29, 2007 as ISC missionaries in the Tokyo Bay Area. They find it hard to claim a hometown because they have moved 7 times since they got married two years ago. They claim Texas together because they met at SWBTS, but Drew is officially from Louisiana and Kelly, being a PK, claims Oklahoma and Texas.

Drew enjoys all that the outdoors offers, hunting, fishing, exploring, ropes course and more. He is an avid LSU fan and misses watching the games with his dad. He is enjoying the variety of food in Tokyo but does admit to missing the Cajun food.

Kelly loves an adventure but enjoys her time at home too. She likes to get lost in a good book or movie and enjoys doing the girl thing… shopping. Kelly likes the scenery in Japan but the food is hard for her to get used to since she has never liked fish.

The Dowden’s prayer is “That God would continue to lead their lives in a real and direct way and that they would be able to impact those they come into contact with for His Kingdom.”
