Through this portion of our website, you can discover many ways to become a part of what God is doing in the Greater Tokyo Metropolitan area.  The task of reaching 33 million Japanese will not be done with a hand-full of missionaries.  That is the beauty of the Body of Christ.  The task is something we can all do together, and as missionaries we recognize that we need whole churches, small groups, big groups, families, and individuals to be apart of this fantastic work. Please explore this volunteer section, then contact us about the specific volunteer job requests that you feel God leading you, your family and/or your church to answer.

Step 2: Email the IMB Tokyo Projects Coordinator of your interest- info@imbtokyo.org
Step 3: Work out a team mission, schedule, & budget with the Projects Coordinator
Step 4: Accept a formal Volunteer Team Leader request from the IMB
Step 5: Lead your team preparations using our Volunteer Team Resources
Step 6: Arrive in Tokyo as planned
Step 7: Return home and lead your church in continued missions support for a church planting movement amoungst the Japanese people.
